We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Weekend Assistant to join our team. As a Weekend Assistant, you will be the radiant face of Social Coffee and play a crucial role in creating an amazing experience for our guests. You will warmly welcome our visitors, take their orders, and prepare and serve the most flavorful coffees and beverages. Additionally, you will keep the coffee bar clean and tidy, assist with light kitchen duties, and handle transactions smoothly at the cash register. In short, you contribute to a positive work atmosphere where we collaborate as a close-knit team.
 

Do you have experience in the field? Fantastic! But don't worry if you don't have any experience yet, as we are happy to train you to become a professional barista. You will discover that it is a wonderful profession where you work in a fun establishment and have a lot of interaction with people.

Tasks and responsibilities:
 

- Welcome guests and provide excellent customer service.
- Take and prepare orders, including coffee, tea, and other beverages.
- Maintain product knowledge and advise guests in making their choices.
- Ensure a clean and organized coffee bar, including cleaning equipment, tables, and workstations.
- Assist with light kitchen duties, such as preparing simple dishes and snacks.
- Handle order transactions and operate the cash register accurately.
- Contribute to a positive and energetic work environment.

Profile of the ideal candidate:
 

- You have an affinity for coffee and/or the hospitality industry.
- Customer friendliness is ingrained in your DNA, and you are capable of delivering excellent service.
-You are presentable, hospitable, and detail-oriented.
- You enjoy working in a dynamic environment and can handle busy periods.
- Flexibility is second nature to you, and you are available on weekends, both on Saturdays and Sundays.
- Experience in a similar position is a plus, but not required.
